This course delves into powerful functionalities within CLO to help you craft realistic 3D garments, explore intricate fabric details, and produce stunning visuals for professional presentations and portfolios. Designed for users with a solid foundation in CLO3D, we will explore intermediate functionalities to refine your garment creation process, unlocking a world of creative possibilities!! Our digital expert, Laura Fish, will guide you through the intermediate tools of CLO3D. You will be provided with practice files to work on, with the chance to develop some of your own designs as we progress through the course. A good understanding of CLO3D and access to the software is required. What will I learn: ✨ Session 1 – Mastering fabrics & graphics ✨ ➜ Texture editor ➜ Fabric maps & application ➜ Graphics & print techniques ➜ AI fabric creator functions ✨ Session 2 – Technical refinement ✨ ➜ Pattern Modification ➜ Adding seam allowances & notches ➜ Walking patterns ➜ Preparing guides to measure ➜ Understanding fit maps ➜ CLO-SET ✨ Session 3 – Customisation & detailing ✨ ➜ Creating trims from scratch ➜ Customised top stitches ➜ Wash effects & embroidery ➜ Dart manipulation ✨ Session 4 – Presentation & animation ✨ ➜ Avatar styling & posing ➜ Layering, freeze, strengthen, deactivate & archive ➜ Hi-res garment images & rendering By the end of this course, you’ll become a CLO3D power user, capable of creating exceptional 3D garments that push the boundaries of design. You will possess the skills to craft captivating visuals, setting your work apart and leaving a lasting impression on clients and audiences. Cancellation Policy
Learner Agreement - By booking onto any of our services, you agree to the following guidelines. These are in place to ensure a positive, professional and enjoyable learning experience for everyone involved. *Learning requirements You will need the full app version of our training platform, Hurdle, which we will provide access to. You will also need a valid full or trial version of CLO or Adobe software for the duration of your learning. Please refer to our FAQs for minimum system requirements for each software. For CLO training, a three button mouse is essential. Apple Magic Mouse and Wacom tablets are not suitable. We also recommend using a second screen, such as a monitor or tablet, to support viewing demonstrations. A stable internet connection is required. *Professional conduct We ask all learners to treat tutors and fellow learners with respect and professionalism. Please be mindful of how much space you take up in discussions so that everyone has the opportunity to participate. *Attendance and participation Learners are expected to attend sessions punctually and be ready to learn. If you are unable to attend a session, please notify your tutor as soon as possible. For group sessions, missing more than two sessions without prior notice or a valid reason may affect eligibility for a certificate of completion. Our group courses and masterclasses are interactive and adapt to the needs of the learners present. This means pace and content may vary depending on questions and the level of hands-on practice required. We prioritise understanding and confidence over speed, and while every course is designed to meet its intended learning outcomes, not all advertised topics may be fully covered within live sessions. *Cancellations and rescheduling If you need to cancel a booking, please do so at least one week before your session. For tuition sessions, we’re happy to reschedule if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. For group sessions and masterclasses, please note that rescheduling isn’t available once booked. *Delivery and adaptation By joining our learning sessions, you acknowledge that live training may adapt based on group needs and engagement levels.
