You'll learn to evaluate samples from a commercial perspective, compare options visually, and collaborate effectively with design and technical teams. This pathway is designed for product developers and buyers new to working with 3D garments. Whether you're building a seasonal range, making buying decisions, or managing approvals across categories, you'll discover how to navigate digital samples confidently, assess what works commercially, and streamline decision-making without waiting for multiple physical prototypes. All sessions are delivered online and recorded for flexible le ✨Reviewing Digital Samples ➜ Open and view 3D garments with ease, understand how to assess styling, silhouette, and overall aesthetic, and build confidence interpreting digital samples without technical expertise. ✨Making Commercial Assessments ➜ Evaluate fit and balance from a visual and commercial perspective, compare styling options side-by-side, and identify what needs adjustment without needing to know how to technically fix it. ✨Range Building ➜ Review fabric and colourway combinations across your range, assess materials for commercial appeal and cost positioning, and make confident decisions based on digital samples. ✨Communicating Decisions & Collaborating ➜ Visual feedback using comments and annotations, presentation-ready renders and turntables for range reviews, and collaborate with design and technical teams. By the end of this course, you'll be confident reviewing digital samples from a commercial perspective, making faster decisions, and communicating clearly with design and technical teams. Learner Agreement - By booking onto any of our services, you agree to the following guidelines. These are in place to ensure a positive, professional and enjoyable learning experience for everyone involved. *Learning requirements You will need the full app version of our training platform, Hurdle, which we will provide access to. You will also need a valid full or trial version of CLO or Adobe software for the duration of your learning. Please refer to our FAQs for minimum system requirements for each software. For CLO training, a three button mouse is essential. Apple Magic Mouse and Wacom tablets are not suitable. We also recommend using a second screen, such as a monitor or tablet, to support viewing demonstrations. A stable internet connection is required. *Professional conduct We ask all learners to treat tutors and fellow learners with respect and professionalism. Please be mindful of how much space you take up in discussions so that everyone has the opportunity to participate. *Attendance and participation Learners are expected to attend sessions punctually and be ready to learn. If you are unable to attend a session, please notify your tutor as soon as possible. For group sessions, missing more than two sessions without prior notice or a valid reason may affect eligibility for a certificate of completion. Our group courses and masterclasses are interactive and adapt to the needs of the learners present. This means pace and content may vary depending on questions and the level of hands-on practice required. We prioritise understanding and confidence over speed, and while every course is designed to meet its intended learning outcomes, not all advertised topics may be fully covered within live sessions. *Cancellations and rescheduling If you need to cancel a booking, please do so at least one week before your session. For tuition sessions, we’re happy to reschedule if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. For group sessions and masterclasses, please note that rescheduling isn’t available once booked. *Delivery and adaptation By joining our learning sessions, you acknowledge that live training may adapt based on group needs and engagement levels.
