Skills Update: How to make your garment flats look great in Illustrator

This Skills Update will help you to take your garment flats to the next level! Whether you are creating technical CADs or design flats; accurate proportion, depth and movement are key to getting across your ideas.

Have you ever added print or texture to your CADs and they just look flat and all the detail has disappeared? Or maybe sent a design to get made and when it comes back you realise that maybe your CAD wasn't true to what you envisioned?... well I can tell you that with some minor tweaks and simple techniques we can transform your garment flats into a thing of accurate beauty! 

At CAD for Fashio all our tutors are designers as well as lecturers, so we use and teach the software every day. This means that over the years we have developed, collected, stumbled across and researched the best tools and shortcuts to make your lives easier.
