FREE Skills Update: How Digital Tools are Transforming Design Workflows

How things work in the fashion and textile industry is changing rapidly, so you are not alone if you are feeling overwhelmed and left behind. This Free Skills Update aims to shed some light on the key technologies shaking things up, where they fit in this new way of working, and, most importantly, how it may impact you and the skills you need to thrive!

We will start by looking at the Adobe ecosystem's relevance and use cases as the industry transitions to 3D visualisations.  Then, we will examine traditional 3D design tools and discuss who needs to learn this new software—and who doesn't! Finally, we will examine a new kind of 3D design tool, Embodee, which gives designers all the power over colour, print, texture, and graphics without the huge learning curve that 3D brings. AI is also a big disruptor, so we will demo the latest version of NewArc.ai too. 

You will come away from this event with a better understanding of the digital tools changing the design and development process and a clearer idea of what skills will help you thrive in the industry.
